What is Boulevard 1900?

It’s stylish apartment living, designed especially with Arizona State University students in mind. Boulevard 1900 features a variety of extra-large furnished apartments with private bathrooms, hardwood-style floors, in-unit laundry, flat-panel TV, and unlimited utilities included. The community offers a full set of amenities such as two pools, hot tub, a 4,000 square-foot fitness club, rooftop lounge, and available parking deck. All just five minutes from the ASU campus, right on the Valley Metro Rail.

Can I live with friends, or can you match me with roommates?

You can select your roommate(s), or you can apply on your own and we can match you with other students. Applicants answer a short list of lifestyle questions to help in the matching process.

What are per-person contracts?

Instead of requiring all roommates to sign a joint lease, each person at Boulevard 1900 has their own individual contract, with one person per bedroom. This means you are only responsible for paying for yourself — not your roommates. Even if a roommate moves out or other bedrooms in your apartment are empty, you only pay the rate for your bedroom.

What is included in the rate?

Each resident at Boulevard 1900 pays a monthly rental installment with a flat $65 utility/amenity fee that includes:

  • A full set of furniture
  • Unlimited electricity and water/sewer – no caps or extra bills
  • Wi-fi throughout the community, plus plug-in Internet in each bedroom
  • Flat-panel HDTV in living room
  • Washer and dryer in each apartment
  • 24-hour on-site management
  • Community features — pools, fitness center, etc.

How big are the apartments?

The 2, 3 and 4 bedroom apartments at Boulevard 1900 are among the largest in Tempe – as much as nearly 1,500 square feet.

Are the apartments furnished?

Yes, all apartments at Boulevard 1900 include a furniture package including a full-size bed, dresser, desk and chair in each bedroom, a leather-style sofa and lounge chair, coffee table and entertainment stand with flat-panel HDTV in each living room, plus a breakfast bar with counter stools. When do the contracts start and end?

The standard term is August 17, 2020 to July 25, 2021, with payments made in 12 equal installments. Limited alternate dates may be available; please inquire with our staff.

Can I pay by credit card?

Yes. Residents can pay online 24 hours per day, by credit card or ACH electronic checking. Boulevard 1900 also offers automatic payment by either credit card or checking account — just fill out one page, one time and payments will be made automatically. Convenience fees apply for credit card and debit card payments.

Will my financial aid cover charges at Boulevard 1900?

Your living costs at Boulevard 1900 can be covered by financial aid, just like on-campus housing. Any available financial aid funds, after university charges are satisfied, are released to the student for non-institutional expenses, such as off-campus housing. These funds can be used to pay charges at Boulevard 1900. Normal payment deadlines will continue to apply.

Is Boulevard 1900 open to non-students?

Nearly all the residents at Boulevard 1900 are students at Arizona State University and the per-person contracts are also designed with students in mind. Nonetheless, Boulevard 1900 is an Equal Opportunity housing provider and welcomes applications from non-students. Family members are welcome as well, subject to occupancy limits. Because of the need to match student roommates, non-students must apply together with enough roommates to fill the desired apartment.

What kind of safety and security are provided?

Boulevard 1900 has monitored fire sprinklers, electronic locks on each front door, plus individually locking bedroom doors. Community courtesy patrols are provided at select times, plus security cameras are located in certain areas. Management staff are also on-site 24×7 and can be reached by a 24-hour phone number.

What are the policies on pets, smoking and guests?

Boulevard 1900 is pet-friendly in select apartments, with required registration and fee, subject to limits on animals and breed. Boulevard 1900 is a no-smoking community in all indoor areas. Guests are welcome at all times, subject to the consent of apartment-mates and security considerations. Overnight guests are welcome, with limits on the number of days and guests.

Can I park my vehicle at Boulevard 1900?

Boulevard 1900 offers an optional covered parking structure attached to the community. Limited guest parking is also available at no charge.

What other transportation options will I have?

Boulevard 1900 is just steps from two Valley Metro Rail stops. Trains arrive every 12 minutes all day long, seven days a week, and run directly to the Arizona State campus. It’s just a five-minute ride to the ASU Tempe Campus stop. Service runs from before 5am until midnight Sunday through Thursday, and until nearly 4am on Friday and Saturday nights.
